While working for design studio, DePalma Studios, I led this project to re-design an existing B2B application for a Bus Transit Management company. Their desktop and mobile experiences were lacking in user-friendly workflows as new features were added over time and the overall design had not been updated in many years. The client was tired of losing out to competition after product demos and wanted to “wow” their customers with a new experience.
I analyzed the existing application and found areas where workflows could be simplified and designed a new experience from top to bottom. I worked with their CTO to discover new features and delivered a product that gave the client exactly what they were looking for.
Process & Responsibilities ✍️
Research existing application and diagram out workflows and processes
Communicate dysfunctional workflows and offer new solutions
Sketch initial concepts and lead meetings with stakeholders to determine capabilities
Create high-fidelity wireframes for desktop and mobile applications
Design UI for all screens, including step-by-step editing abilities, various “what if” scenarios, blank states, and error dialogues
Lead hand-off meeting with stakeholders
Act as product liaison during development and offer design guidance when client had questions
