For many users the goal of logging in is usually 1 of a few things – check balances and pay or send money. So instead of hiding those functions in hamburger menu, I wanted them to be clear and available from the start.
Plus, using a simple chart to track your monthly balance adds interest (not that kind) and an interactive component to the dashboard. With a simple drag, see your recent month's end balances to see how your savings plan is going.
